Writect AI (operated by Websrow FZE) may use cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies to make the service work properly. This page summarizes those practices; full details are in our Privacy Policy (Cookies and Local Browser Storage).

What we use

• Essential session data — to keep you signed in and maintain sessions on the web app.
• Preferences — such as theme (light/dark) stored in localStorage.
• Web chat history — Writect web app chat history is stored locally in your browser and is not stored in Writect’s database.
• Extension storage — the Chrome extension stores your session and settings locally on your device.

Analytics cookies

We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on the marketing site.

Your choices

You can control browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing cookies, local storage, or site data may remove locally stored information, including Writect web app chat history. Extension data can be cleared by removing the extension or clearing its storage.
